Biography of the Instructor
Dr.Gangyi(Gary) Zhou has extensive knowledge in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. He hold PE licenses in both mechanical and electrical in California. Meanwhile he is a LEED AP also. After he got his PhD degree, he worked in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in University of Central Florida, and in University of California, Irvine as a researcher. He lectured several core courses for both undergraduate students and graduate students. He is an expert in smart materials and vibration control technologies. He is the corresponding author for over 18 peer-reviewed international journal papers. He started his own engineering consulting business (www.gmepe.com) in May 2010. Meanwhile, because of his strong academic interests, he founded OC Study Helper in Januray 2010 and he is willing to help young engineers to pass the engineering tests.
